Referrals to adult community mental health services rose by approximately 11% from the previous year, with 625,000 individuals referred to community mental health teams. Additionally, there were 213,000 children and young people on waiting lists for Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services.
Across the UK, a total of 6,588 suicide deaths were recorded in 2022, indicating a concern that persists despite efforts to address mental health and suicide prevention.
The platform has a singular purpose: to generate funds specifically for enhancing charity mental health services. These funds are then allocated towards improving the availability, quality, and accessibility of mental health care and support.
